Our Story

The Church School opened its doors to our first pupils in May 1974.

This followed a period of careful Bible study and prayerful reflection. With the full support of the membership, the Church School was established under the oversight of a Board of Governors who were the Eldership of the church.

By 1980, we had constructed a new church building on our site at Archer Road. This enabled us to convert the old church building into what is now our school.

By God’s grace, ever since these early days, we have been staffed by volunteers from our church membership. As a school we are entirely funded by the giving of the church membership, and donations from parents. We are not funded by any state contributions, either local or national.

As we reflect on our history, we praise our Great God for His generosity, grace and sustaining power. For more than four decades, His provision has blessed hundreds of past pupils with a fully rounded education; having their academic potential fulfilled and their characters formed by a conspicuously Christian context.
